Mimosa (Albizia julibrissin) - Description
A. julibrissin is a deciduous silk tree that is native to Asia, ranging from Iran to Japan. It can rapidly grow to heights of 40 feet high, with a canopy spreading to as much as twice the tree's height. It has ferny, pale yellowish green leaves that are sensitive to light and fold at night. It bears fluffy pink flowers in the summer.
