The flowers come in clusters of small white, pink, or rose purple flowers. They flower in the spring.

Alpine Rock-Cress (Arabis alpina) - Growth

Annuals and evergreen perennials. Rockcress does well in full sun. These are low-growing/spreading plants that would make good candidates for edges, rock gardens or ground covers. All varieties of Rockcress have attractive year round foliage.

Propagate from the seed. Sow in containers in a cold frame in fall (for protection and to ensure hardiness). Separate rosettes in fall. Can also propagate from softwood cuttings in summer.

Aphids and Arabis midge. Once the Arabis midge has attacked flower shoots, dispose of the shoots immediately. Arabis is also prone to white rust, downy mildew, and rust, all of which are quite common.
