Garbanzo Bean (Cicer arietinum) - Description
Small pods, usually with one medium size, light brown seed each. Use dried seeds boiled or roasted and served buttered or in soup. Also good cooked, then chilled for salads. Ready to harvest about 100 days from sowing. GARDEN HINTS: In dry weather, keep soil well-watered but do not work around or handle plants when wet. Let pod mature, cut plants and dry, then shell beans and store for later use.
