Crown Vetch (Coronilla varia 'Penngift') - Description

Penngift. Perfect for covering sunny banks to prevent erosion and to choke out weeds. Spreads rapidly, producing mounds of lacy foliage, covered from June to frost with masses of lavender and pink flowers.

The Crown Vetch will bloom lavender-pink, yellow, white, or pink, fragrant, pea-like flowers followed by slender pods.

Annuals, herbaceous perennials, and evergreen and deciduous shrubs. Will grow stems that are about 2 ft. in length. Does best in full sun. Grow Coronilla in a shrub border or at the base of a wall that gets sun.
