Celebrate spring with this cheery, compact, early blooming perennial. Doronicum Leonardotrade; Compact has showy, daisy-like yellow flowers and unique green toothed foliage. The plant stands about 6 inches tall when in bloom making it perfect for edging or container planting. Doronicum received the Fleuroselect Quality Mark award for 2006!

These plants require a period of cold temperatures (aka vernalization period) to induce flowering. Weather that hovers around an average of 40F for nine weeks will provide a long enough cold period to provide enough floral bud induction to result in very vigorous floral blooms in early spring.
