Dramatic flared trumpets in clusters of Gaillardia, scarlet-red with bright yellow tips. Nice mounded form. Good for containers and as cuts. Very heat tolerant. Looks stunning when planted with Stokesia laevis 'Peachie's Pick'.

Gaillardia grows best in open, sunny places. Mulch around the plants with organic compost, but not within 3" in spring or at planting.
