Daylily (Hemerocallis x 'Strawberry Candy') - Description

Winner of the Stout Silver Medal in 1998 --The American Hemerocallis Society's most prestigious award. 'Strawberry Candy' features lush pink petals with a rose-red eye and golden throat. Extended blooming time lasts 16 or more hours for each bud. Plants may carry over 50 buds per scape (flower stalk), giving this plant an extremely long bloom time. Hemerocallis 'Strawberry Candy' is very winter hardy and low maintenance when in bloom, making it a great addition to any garden.

The funnel-shaped blooms last for only one day, but new blooms continue for weeks or months from late spring through the summer. The flowers bloom on tall stalks, starting at the top.
