An extremely vigorous hybrid with larger flowers and more of them than most other cardinal flowers. The gorgeous rose-pink flower spikes of Lobelia 'Monet Moment' are very striking and attractive to hummingbirds! Ideal perennial for a moist location such as near at a pond's edge or in a low lying area.
Lobelia (Lobelia x 'Monet Moment') - Blooming
All have tubular flowers that are slit almost to the base to form two lips. The top lip has two lobes and the bottom one three. Flowers are single or in erect racemes or panicles in shades of blue to red to white to yellow. To enhance flowering, implement a balanced liquid fertilizer biweekly between spring and early summer. From there, apply a nitrogen-free fertilizer biweekly til the end of the growing season.
