Crimson Beebalm (Monarda didyma 'Grand Parade') - Description
Monarda didyma 'Grand Paradetrade;' is an exceptional hardy hybrid from the Morden Breeding Program in Manitoba. In mid-late summer, the compact bushy plants are covered with fun looking 2frac12;" lavender purple flowers. Hummingbirds and butterflies cannot resist the sweet nectar of these fragrant flowers! The shiny dark green foliage has a delightful fragrance of mint that deer dislike. Monarda didyma 'Grand Paradetrade;' also exhibits very good mildew resistance!

During the summer, Bee Balm grows upright stems that are topped with clusters of tube like flowers. Hummingbirds are known pollinators. Bees are also attracted to Monarda. Deadhead for continued blooming.
