Monarda didyma 'Pink Lace' is a delightful new Bee Balm with a tidy compact habit. At only 16" tall, it is perfect for the front of the border or even in containers. The color is a striking lipstick pink that really draws your attention and that of hummingbirds and butterflies. Monarda didyma 'Pink Lace' is an easy to grow, deer resistant perennial! Monarda is native to eastern North America, so it is easy to grow and it multiplies quickly. The flowers' sweet nectar attracts scores of hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees to the garden. The aromatic foliage smells like mint when crushed and is often used to flavor teas.

During the summer, Bee Balm grows upright stems that are topped with clusters of tube like flowers. Hummingbirds are known pollinators. Bees are also attracted to Monarda. Deadhead for continued blooming.
