Alleghany Pachysandra (Pachysandra procumbens) - Description
P. procumbens is native to the southeastern United States. It bears grayish green, broadly oval to roundish leaves that are 2 to 4 inch in length. They also produce small, fragrant white or pinkish flowers.

Blooms small, fluffy white, petalless flowers during the summer.

The stems of the plant will grow to approx. 10 inches in deep shade. If the Pachysandra is planted in dappled shade, the stems will grow to be approx. 6 inches tall. Works well as a groundcover.
