Jacob's Ladder or Greek valerian (Polemonium caeruleum) is a hardy perennial flowering plant. The plant produces cup-shaped, lavender-coloured or white flowers. It is native to temperate regions of Europe.

Grow in full sun or partial shade. Taller species work well in a border or woodland garden. The smaller alpine species make nice additions to a rock garden, scree bed, or alpine house. P. brandegeei and P. pauciflorum are often short lived species.
