All agree, however, that these plants are custom-made for American summers. Celosia thrives in hot, dry conditions and looks its best in bright sunlight. Flower heads hold their color a long time in the garden or as dried flowers. 30" plants bear masses of feathery plumes in crimson, rose, orange or pale yellow. 75 to 100 days from seed.
