Stringless 5 in pods may be eaten fresh as a snap bean as well as a tasty shell or dried bean. Green shell beans ready in about 55 days after seed sowing. GARDEN HINTS: In dry weather, keep soil well watered, but do not work around or handle plants when wet. Pick green for shell beans; or let pods mature, cut plants and dry well, then shell beans for later use.
