From early summer through the first frost Lobeila erinus 'Cambridge Blue' will give you some of the best and consistent color at the front of your planting borders. This low growing wonder is very low maintenance and just loaded with its small 3/4 " blooms that come in sky blue and literally will not stop their bloom for anything! Try it in a hanging planter to get a eye level view of this opulent bloomer!

All have tubular flowers that are slit almost to the base to form two lips. The top lip has two lobes and the bottom one three. Flowers are single or in erect racemes or panicles in shades of blue to red to white to yellow. To enhance flowering, implement a balanced liquid fertilizer biweekly between spring and early summer. From there, apply a nitrogen-free fertilizer biweekly til the end of the growing season.
