Long, narrow, grass like leaves form a sheath around stout pseudo bulb. They prefer 45-55°F (7-12°C) night temperature and up to 80-90°F (7-12°C) day temperature. Temperatures as low as 28°F (7-12°C), for short periods only. For harder frosts, cover with polyethylene film or bring indoors.
