Compact Rush (Juncus conglomeratus) - Description
Juncus conglomeratus, known commonly as Compact Rush, is a species of rush. In the England, Wales and Scotland it is one of six rush species which can dominate lowland damp grasslands.

Rushes are generally found in boggy soils, so they fit perfectly near ponds, pools or terrariums. J. effusus and J. inflexus can grow in water that is atmost 3" deep. Juncus grows best in sites with full sun or partial shade.
