Late mid-season peonies are glorious and long lasting in the vase. Although a hybrid it has become an old time classic. 'Karl Rosenfield' features bright crimson double blooms that old time growers claim no other Peony has come close to yet!

Large, bright flowers in a range of colors followed by pod-like fruits containing sometimes black or red seeds. Herbaceous Peonies bloom best when they have a sufficient winter chill. Although they can survive intense heat in the summer, the flowers will not last as long if temperatures get too hot.
