Parry's Penstemon (Penstemon parryi) - Description
Penstemon parryi is a native of Southern Arizona and Mexico. Used to arid conditions, this is a fantastic plant for desert style themed gardens or for drought tolerant plantings. It literally loads up with pink tubular flowers each late winter and spring (February through April) for a unique blast of color for that time of year. Hummingbirds will say thanks in their travels across the desert if they find this in your yard!
