The most famous lima bean in the world, more popular today than when introduced by Burpee in 1907! A "potato" type lima with a mouth-watering chestnut flavor. Delicious fresh and excellent for freezing. Ready to pick about 75 days after sowing. GARDEN HINTS: Lima bean seeds require warmer soil and air temperatures than snap beans to germinate. Cultivate or mulch to keep weed-free, but do not work or handle plants when leaves are wet.
