Ground Elder (Aegopodium podagraria) - Description
A. podagraria are plants that are native from Europe to western Asia and naturalized in North America. They spread by creeping underground rootstocks and are best contained in an underground barrier of wood, concrete, or metal extending 8 to 12 inches into the soil.

Flowers in the summer, but they are mostly insignificant and it is recommended to remove the flowering stems to prevent volunteers from sprouting.
