Aralia elata, or Japanese angelica tree, is a woody plant belonging to the family Araliaceae.
Japanese Angelica Tree (Aralia elata) - Blooming
Flowers are small and white but in such large clusters that they are showy. Blooms in midsummer.
Japanese Angelica Tree (Aralia elata) - Growth
Does well in full sun exposure or partial shade. They can reach as tall as 30 ft. making them unsuitable for smaller gardens. In colder climates they may only reach 10 ft. tall.
