Feathery pink, red, rose, cream and white plumes above fern-like foliage, often tipped with bronze. Astilbes are excellent, shade loving plants. Their lacy, fern-like foliage and feathery plumes will bring an air of elegance and grace to your garden. New foliage is often bronze tinged, becoming green as it matures. Rising above the foliage, the flowers are ideal for use in fresh and dried arrangements. Works best in mass plantings to get top visual effect. They will grow to 2' high and should be spaced about 18" apart.
