This late spring bloomer has vivid blue, 1" star shaped flowers borne along the top 8-12" of the stems which can reach 3-4'. Plant 3-5" apart and equally deep.

Star like, slender-petaled, violet-blue to white blossoms are carried on spikes in late spring, early summer.
