Geranium macrorrhizum 'Variegatum' forms compact mounds of beautifully lobed leaves are striped and splashed with cream to white, that turns reddish to pink tinged in the fall. Put this plant close to a pathway or patio container to enjoy the fragrant foliage. This plant will work great in dry shade areas, as it does have some drought tolerance. Unlike its non variegated parent, Geranium macrorrhizum 'Variegatum' spreads very slowly and therefore is a lot easier to maintain.
