Lettuce (Lactuca sativa 'Paris White Cos') - Description

Light green outer leaves form elongated, tightly folded heads about 10" tall. Heart leaves are greenish white and have a slightly bitter, endive-like flavor. Starting in early Spring make successive plantings every two weeks or so to extend the period of harvest. When thinning out your beds make delicious extra-early salads from the baby greens. In dry weather, keep soil moist to delay onset of bolting. Lettuce 'Paris White Cos' is ready 83 days after seed is sown.
