Double bright blue long lasting flowers. Foliage stays all summer. Do not cut. Forms grasslike carpet. Sometimes self sows seedlings. These take 3 years to bloom. So undemanding, clumps may be transplanted while in bloom. Plant in rock gardens, naturalizing and as an edger. Plant in drifts or clumps. Does well in ordinary well drained soil.
