Chinaberry (Melia azederach) - Description

M. azedarach is native to China and northern India. It bears rich green 1 to 3 feet long leaves that are cut into many toothed, narrow or oval leaflets. It produces loose clusters of lilac flowers that are fragrant in the evening in spring or early summer. Following the blossoms are berrylike, yellow fruits about half an inch wide.
