Endive (Cichorium endivia) - Description
Rich green, finely cut, fringed leaves blanch to creamy white in center. Crisp and tender in salads. Plants 18 in. across. Ready 90 days after sowing. GARDEN HINTS: Stands frost. Hearts may be blanched by fastening mature leaves together with soft twine or elastic bands. Blanching takes 2-3 weeks.
