Cranesbills (Geranium x 'Espresso') - Description
Geranium maculatum 'Espresso' features chocolate brown foliage with 5 broad lobes. These plants will grow in clumps and are covered with light lavender / pink flowers, setting off dramatically with its chocolate brown foliage. This provides an interesting contrast plant for tubs and border plantings. Use this as a fantastic shade plant, and or ground cover for woodland themed yards.
Cranesbills (Geranium x 'Espresso') - Blooming
Most Cranesbill start blooming in May and will continue through the autumn. If the summer heat causes the flowers to fad, trim back and water heavily to promote continued blooming.
