Sea Holly (Eryngium planum 'Jade Frost') - Description
Eryngium 'Jade Frost' is one of the most spectacular variegated plants we have ever seen! The unique blue-green leaves have a leathery texture and are surrounded by a bold, creamy-white margin. During times with cool night time temperatures, the variegation on the newer leaves is bright pink. To top off the spectacular foliage, the flowers are equally amazing! During mid-summer, masses of intense silver-blue, spiny flowers are produced on candelabra like stems. Florists love the long lasting cut flowers. Eryngium 'Jade Frost' also thrives in hot and dry areas and is very tolerant of high salt soils. Don't miss out on this great new perennial!
