Pulmonaria longifolia, (Narrow-leaved Lungwort) is a semi-evergreen clump-forming herbaceous perennial plant, native to western Europe, including Britain, France, Spain, Portugal. It grows in semi-shaded habitats, such as woodland and scrub, often on rather heavy clay soils, to 2000 m above sea level. Pulmonaria (Pulmonaria longifolia) - Planting
Sow seeds in containers outdoors as soon as the seeds have fully ripened. Take root cuttings in winter.
Pulmonaria (Pulmonaria longifolia) - Pest
Prone to slugs, snails and powdery mildew.
