Pulmonaria officinalis, common names Lungwort , Common Lungwort or Our Lady's Milk Drops, is an herbaceous evergreen perennial rhizomatous plant of the genus Pulmonaria, belonging to the family Boraginaceae

Lungworts excel in full shade. They are low-growing plants with leaves that are dappled with gray or silver spots. All species have creeping roots and will spread slowly. Works well as a limited ground cover under a large canopy tree.
