Flowers 1" in many colors. Stamens protrude like pins from pincushions, providing perfect platforms, for butterflies. Mix in the front to mid-border with shasta daisies, lady's mantle, sedums, sweet alyssums, dianthus, taller grasses and asters, for a 3-D planting scheme, and 3 seasons of satisfaction.

Blooms can be single or double, constructed similar to daisies. Small central florets surrounded by larger petal-like florets to resemble a pincushion somewhat.
