This old time violet French hybrid is more compact and disease-resistant than standard lilacs. The purple, double 4" to 8" flower panicles are formed in late spring through early summer. Plant this Lilac in a location that can be enjoyed for its opulent color and wonderful fragrance. Shrubs add substance to perennial beds and are ideal companions for large trees.
