Goatsbeard (Aruncus dioicus) - Description
A. dioicus is native to Eurasia and to southeastern and south-central Alaska. It grows to 6 and sometimes even 7 feet tall and 4 feet wide.

Flowers appear in clusters atop the shoot system. Blooms in summer. Flowers have a creamy white color.

Does best in partial shade but can withstand full sun in cooler climates. A. dioicus can tolerate drier conditions. Some species may reach 6 ft. tall (A. dioicus), whereas others (A. aethusifolius) can only reach 1 ft. tall and just as wide.
