Mousehole Tree (Myoporum laetum) - Description
M. laetum is native to New Zealand. It bears densely clothed branches with narrow, 3 to 4 inch long leaves. It produces clusters of small white summer flowers with purple markings that are followed by reddish-purple fruits.

The small flowers are usually white and have five petal lobes, followed by dark, berrylike fruits.

Evergreen shrubs or small trees. Leaves are alternate, range from less that half an inch to more than 3 inch long, and have small, clear or colored spots that can be seen when held up to the light. Six to eight inches tall bat can spread to more than 12 feet. Grows best in full sun with midday shade.
