False Spirea (Astilbe x arendsii) - Description
These Astilbes are probably the top selling hybrids of this Genera. With several ancestors to fine tune this hybrid into a vigorous flowering machine for mid summer color. Plants in this species reach between 3' to 4' high with leaves that tend to change color with the seasons for some extra long interest in the garden or landscape. Astilbe x arendsii does best with some afternoon shade for peak blooming performance.
