Japanese Rose (Kerria japonica 'Pleniflora') - Description
K. japonica is native to China and Japan. It produces slender yellowish green stems in the winter with green, somewhat triangular 2 to 4 inch long toothed leaves. It also bears small, yellow rose-like flowers in the spring. 'Pleniflora' is the most commonly grown kerria, and bears double yellow blooms that appear throughout the summer and sometimes into early fall.

Blooms March-May what looks like small, single yellow roses. Although the plant can survive in full sun, the flowers will bleach and is not recommended.
